Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant

I was born and raised in Louisville, KY where I was active year-round in sports. I eventually taught and coached swimming for 6 years. Upon graduation from University of Kentucky with a degree in Marketing,  I spent 10 years in SC, then 14 in Western NC.  After working in the food and beverage industry for over 15 years, I decided a career change was in order. My experience teaching swim lessons and love for working with kids guided me towards a career in Occupational Therapy. I graduated from Greenville Technical College in November of 2016 with an Associates of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. I worked for 4.5 years in a pediatric outpatient clinic in Asheville, NC with experience in ages 3-18 with a multitude of diagnosis including: Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Fine Motor Delay, ADHD, and Developmental Delays. A desire to be closer to family brought us to Northeast TN and Mini Miracles.   In my free time I enjoy watching sports, especially Kentucky basketball and Elizabethton River Riders, reading and spending time with my husband, daughter and two dogs.
