Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Brandi earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Occupational Therapy in May 2013 from Southwest Virginia Community College where she graduated manga cum laude earning the Academic Achievement Award. She is a board certified therapist through NBCOT and licensed in both Virginia and Tennessee. Brandi decided to become an occupational therapy assistant after working with her sons occupational therapist who was an integral part of his success in areas of social, motor and life skills. Her goal as a pediatric occupational therapy assistant is to provide unique and meaningful intervention in order to promote that same opportunity for growth in other children. Brandi has experience with individuals from 3 to 103 years of age with diagnoses including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Muscular Dystrophy, Down Syndrome, Fine Motor Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, ADHD and Developmental Delay. She is currently working towards an Autism Certificate from IBCCES.
