Heather Lester, PT, DPT
Pediatric Physical Therapist
Heather received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Lincoln Memorial University in May 2013. She received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University in December 2017. During her two pediatric internship experiences, Heather’s passion for the pediatric population grew, leading her to pursue a career in pediatric physical therapy. She has worked with children of all ages with a variety of diagnoses including developmental delays and gross motor delays, torticollis, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, leukemia, autism, orthopedic impairments, neurological impairments, and genetic conditions that limit age appropriate play and skills in both the home and community. Heather is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and skill set to provide the best care to children and their families. She is planning to pursue a board-certified specialty in pediatric physical therapy in the future.
