Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Kathleen received her Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders, Speech Language Pathology from East Tennessee State University in 2013. She is a certified member of American Speech and Hearing Association, ASHA. During her graduate clinicals, she discovered a love for working with children of all abilities. Kathleen most recently worked with PreK through 8th grade students in an elementary/middle school setting but also has experience with Early Intervention and a range of abilities through private practice. She now works with children from birth to 18 years of age. She has experience evaluating and treating children diagnosed with a variety of impairments including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Global Developmental Delays, Motor-Speech Disorders, Articulation Impairments, Phonological Processing Disorders, Hearing Impairment, Prematurity, Dysphagia, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Cognitive Delays, Receptive & Expressive Language Impairments, Sensory Integration Disorders, Auditory Processing Disorders and Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. Kathleen firmly believes in embracing the whole family by engaging children and parents in activities that will prove functional for everyday communication.
