Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant

Whitney received her Associates of Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy in May 2019 from Southwest Virginia Community College. She is a board certified Occupational Therapy Assistant through NBCOT and is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Virginia. During Whitney’s journey through the OTA program, she completed fieldwork placements in school settings and a SNF. While completing fieldwork in school settings, Whitney obtained experience with a variety of diagnoses including: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Hydrocephalus, Muscular Dystrophy, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Visual Processing Disorder. Whitney has always had a desire to work with children and is excited to help children reach their full potential through creative, individualized therapy treatments.
